MONTGOMERY, Ala. (April 13, 2022) – Agnes Scott College tennis had a rough day against Huntingdon College on Wednesday (4/13) afternoon, falling 9-0 to the Scotties.
 
Brandy Nalyanya (Aurora, Colo.) dropped a 6-0, 6-0 decision to HC's Madeline Creel at No. 1 singles and first year Gor'Nese Turner (Leavenworth, Kan.) lost her No. 2 singles match to Kennedy Harp by scores of 6-3, 6-3. Huntingdon's Allison Stegall defeated ASC Leilah Lewinson (Lithonia, Ga.) 6-0, 6-0 while HC's Meredith Head shutout Agnes Scott sophomore Katiuska Toral-Castillo (Columbus, Ohio) 6-1, 6-0 at No. 4 singles.  First year Caroline Gladstein battled through sets at No. 5 singles before losing by scores of 6-0 and 6-2 to Alonda Weaver. Marisa LaJone won by default. 
 
Huntingdon College (6-7 / 3-2 USA South) captured a 9-0 victory over Agnes Scott at No. 1 doubles and defeated the Scotties 8-2, 8-0 at No. 2 respectively.
